About Janelle
What began in 2011 as a “stay-at-home mom side hustle” has blossomed into a vibrant, multifaceted coaching platform where individuals can illuminate their goals and nurture connections with themselves and others – both on and off stage. Janelle brings 30+ years of experience in performing arts & music fundamentals, counseling & energetic arts to provide a well-rounded, relevant performance education. She has studied and performed music & theatre her entire life. She holds a BS in Psychology, has studied Medical Qigong, Reiki, breathwork, meditation and is a practicing Empathy Coach. This unique collection of skills allow her to create a student-led, whole-person-focused space with open-hearted communication at its core.

Students call in from the comfort of their homes (or, wherever…), on whatever device is best for them, wherever they are in the world!
Why Online?
There’s a million reasons to love teaching virtually, but a few of my favorites are:
Convenient for busy families
Online learning provides incredible convenience for students, clients and parents. No commutes. No gas spent. No rushing just to wait around. No worrying about illnesses, no finding childcare.
Distance is not a factor
Some families travel up to an hour or more for quality instruction making a 1 hour session an expensive, frustrating, time-consuming endeavor. By the time you get to your session, you’re already tired. What’s the point?? I connect with students and clients all over the US. A video call is JUST as effective, if not more so! I LOVE saving people money on gas and honoring their time by eliminating commutes.
Comfortable for neurodivergent students
As an instructor who is neurodivergent myself, I understand the importance of safety, sameness, and comfort when unpacking the emotions connected to our craft. Online sessions eliminate the stress of unpredictable travel and environmental factors, leaving students to access their authentic selves, and sounds, more easily.
Environmentally Responsible
By conducting all sessions virtually, we can do a small part to reduce travel while utilizing digital music downloads and accompaniment tracks which, as a bonus, can support other small businesses, content creators and musicians! Additionally, not renting studio space helps us use less energy.
